Songwriting, Streaming, and Sustainability

This one-day event will focus on the business of songwriting, exploring how streaming technologies have reshaped the ways in which songwriters sustain their careers. Network members will encounter the contemporary landscape of these technologies through a series of discussions taking place at The Ivors Academy (10:30-18.00) with professional practitioners, industry experts, and leading academics. Confirmed speakers will be announced shortly.

In the evening, iconic songwriter Nile Rodgers and legendary manager Merck Mercuriadis will share their insights into hit songs and the changing world of music publishing during a live conversation with the Sodajerker on Songwriting podcast team as part of the Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre (19.30-20.30).

This event is FREE, but you must book your place using the button on the left of this page.

You have the option of attending just the morning and afternoon activities at the Ivors, or the full day. Full day tickets will include admission to the evening event at Meltdown, and Meltdown tickets will be provided to you during the course of the day.
